Our pancake load cells are engineered to measure the tension and compression of loads from 5 to 500,000 pounds, which makes them ideal for materials testing and axial force measurement. Crash test walls are a popular application due to high frequency and accuracy rates.
With some of our pancake load cells being built of stainless steel or aluminum (such as the LGP 380/382) and the with options to be hermetically sealed for added durability drastically increases the longevity of pancake load cells to allow for multiple cycles without serious wear. This added strength and longevity gives companies a reliable measuring option at a cost-friendly price tag.

The tension/compression LGP 310 Pancake Load Cell is designed with a threaded hole running through the center of the cell. The LGP 310 utilizes two stabilizing diaphragms, which are welded to the sensing member to reduce off-center and side-loading effects. A load button may be advisable when using in compression or a pull plate when using in tension. This model must be used on a flat, smooth surface to achieve rated specifications.
Options available with this unit include: 0-5 Vdc, 4-20 ma output, fatigue rating, high/low temperature compensation and ultra-precision accuracy. Instrumentation is sold separately.
