Press Release: MasterLink 3000

July 23, 2012
Warrenton, VA

Cooper Instruments & Systems now offers the MasterLink 3000, a wireless load cell amplifier that can be connected directly to a standard strain gage load cell, pressure transducer or torque transducer that has an integral connector. If the device does not have a connector, the MasterLink 3000 also has the option to accept flying leads. The MasterLink 3000 amplifier transmits readings from the device to either a handheld display, an analog output or a USB interface.

Among its features, the MasterLink 3000 boasts a wireless signal range of up to 150 feet, with an extended range option available. The MasterLink 3000 software also allows for the full configuration of the system by the user. Other features include:

  • a spectrum analyzer that allows the user to determine an optimal channel selection
  • ability to monitor signal health
  • calibration through a nine point direct input or via applied load
  • ability to monitor battery voltage
  • peak/valley capture
  • up to 40 hours of operation on a rechargeable battery

Cooper Instruments’ President Rex Cooper says:
