The TSFM500-DC stand is ideal for compression and tension testing of springs, packaging, metals, fabrics and other items requiring high force testing.  Model TSFM500-DC mounts vertically; the TSFM500-DC is for horizontal testing applications.
TSFM500-DC 3
The TSFM500-DC offers all the mechanical specifications of the TSFM500 motorized test and, but with expanded  capabilities such as PC control, programming cycling, auto     and any other features. Like the TSFM500 it offers a high maximum force limit (500 lb / 2200 N ), a maximum travel distance of 4 inches, generous clearance and throat depth, rugged design, stepper motor that prevents speed variation with load, and more.

To fit any test application conveniently, the TSFM500-DC's controller allows manual, remote control (included) and PC interface operations.  The controller connects to your computer easily by means of an RS-232 serial cable.  The controller simplifies test set-ups while it protects the stand and your force gauge from overloads.  Set cycle/dwell times, up/down functions, speed and auto-return limits.  The controller also can be password protected to insure that your test parameters are not inadvertently changed.  The optional digital travel display is easy to read and offers SPC output for automatic data collection.

---------------------------------------------Did You Know?---------------------------------------------------

As you may know the eyes of March are upon us and Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, was born most likely in Wales. At age sixteen, he was by his own admission covetous, materialistic and heathen. It was then that he was carried off by Irish marauders and served as a slave for six years, before escaping to a monastery in Gaul. He eventually became bishop of Ireland, and travelled throughout the country, founding schools, churches and monasteries. Among the lore surrounding him are tales that he kindled fire from snow, and delivered a sermon that drove the snakes from Ireland.

Offering everything in load cells, pressure transducers and gages, torque load cells, mechanical/electronic force gages, digital instrumentation, compression and tension test systems, dynamometers, custom designs and much, much more.

Our engineers are available to help meet your cost, application and delivery needs. When you contact the team at Cooper Instruments and Systems, you connect with a real person and are provided with quality customer care.
