A pressure transducer is a sensor typically used to convert a liquid or gas media to a proportional electrical signal. Cooper offers a variety of styles, such as gauge, absolute and differential pressure measurement, as well as units with standard NPT and flush diaphragm pressure ports. Our ranges run from 0.5 psi to 60,000 psi with a variety of outputs including millivolt, voltage and current.

PTT 242 Gage/Absolute Pressure Transmitter

The PTT 242 is a transmitter offering stainless steel construction, allowing it to be used in the harshest working environments. This model offers two wire 4- 20 mA output and has zero and span adjustments. The PTT 242 offers a wide range of electrical connectors with DIN-type as standard. This connector allows for flexibility to use any cable size between 4.5 mm and 14 mm or utilize a 1/2 NPT conduit fitting. It has the advantage of being a solderless and water resistant connection as well as allowing the user to turn connector in any four directions (90- increments). The PTT 242 is ideal for applications including bulk liquid inventory control, steam management and other power plant applications.
